Taro Takami, M.D., Ph.D. -
Visiting Fellow
Dr.
Takami received his M.D. degree from Yamaguchi University School
of Medicine in Japan. He finished the residency program at the Department
of Gastroenterology & Hepatology, Yamaguchi University Hospital.
During his graduate program, he assessed the functions of Human homologue
of Maid (HHM) in hepatocarcinogenesis under Prof. Kiwamu Okita and
obtained his Ph.D. degree from Yamaguchi University School of Medicine
in 2005. In the LEC, Dr. Takami's research is focused on the mechanisms
of hepatocarcinogenesis in the c-Met conditional KO mice.
