Xiaoling (Charlene) Zhou, M.D., Ph.D. -
Biologist
Dr. Zhou received her M.D. and M.S. from Hunan Medical University
in China, and her Ph.D. from University of Maryland at Baltimore.
Before joining the MCS early in 2001, she held the position of CRTA
Fellow in the NCI's Laboratory of Human Carcinogenesis, and prior
to that she worked as research assistant in the University of Maryland
School of Medicine. Her work involved study of the correlation between
structure and function in multiple tumor supressor genes, such as
MTS1, CDKN2, CDKN2B, p15, p16 and p53.
